Stair treads made from your own flooring.

Bring us a few boxes of the vinyl, SPC or laminate you’re putting down. We bend it into one-piece bullnose treads and nosings at our shop in South Brunswick, and they’re ready to pick up two business days later.

How it works

  1. Book a time online. Tell us how many steps, the nose shape and what flooring you’re using. You’ll see the price before you book.
  2. Drop off your planks. Come by 305 New Road at the time you booked.
  3. Pick up your steps. They’re ready two business days later, labeled with your job name and bundled for the truck. We’ll email you when they’re done.

What to bring

Two planks for every full step, one for every nosing, and one for every two risers. Add two extra in case one has a flaw. Whatever we don’t use goes back home with you.

Not sure? Bring a full box. The order form works out the exact count for you.

Questions we get a lot

Will it work with my flooring?

Most vinyl, SPC and WPC bends cleanly, whatever the brand. If you’re not sure about yours, drop off a single plank and we’ll test it before you commit.

Can you do laminate or engineered wood?

Yes, with a square nose. Those floors can’t be bent, so we cut and join them instead, which is why they cost a little more.

How long does it take?

Two business days from drop-off. If you’re in a hurry, rush gets them done the next business day for 30% more.

My stairs are wide, or open on one side.

We make steps up to 65 inches long and can wrap open sides. Add them in the order form, or put a note on the order if the stairs are unusual.

Do you install?

No, we just make the steps. Your installer glues them down like any other tread. If you need someone, ask us and we’ll pass along a name.

For dealers and installers

If you sell or install flooring, open a trade account. You’ll see trade prices whenever you’re signed in, and every order you place stays in one list with its job name.

Sell the stairs along with the floor instead of sending the customer to buy nosing that almost matches.
